Twelve days Mt. Hanuman Tibba Expedition Overview

  • At a height of 5932 m, Hanuman Tibba is one of the most astonishing peaks near Manali in the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas. The trail from the pyramid-shaped peak passes through the beautiful mountain meadows of Solang Valley, glaciers and the Beas Kund river and finally passes through the magnificent Tentu Pass, giving you a beautiful and varied change in your trek. This expedition is for those who want to push their limits and take a step away from regular trekking, but the Hanuman Tibba expedition is not a big deal with technical climbing and a high level of fitness to successfully complete this epic expedition. Prior technical knowledge of crampons and shoe use is essential. The summit offers you unimaginable mountain ocean views, making this a once-in-a-lifetime expedition. The best time to do the expedition is between June and October. For more information about the Hanuman Tibba Expedition, stay tuned.

Itinerary For Twelve days Mt. Hanuman Tibba Expedition

1

Day 1 - Start from Manali

Manali

  • The team reached Manali today at 11 am. Today is important not only because we can use it, but also because we have to gather as a group and get certain permission for the expedition. Although Ms. Hanuman Tibba is registered as the highest level of Trekking by the IMF, the new process developed by the IMF in the Manali region shows that the team provides contact and copies of ID cards of all participants and ID cards. The Guide. HPG has designated a regional office in Manali for trekking in the high Himalayas. After getting this approval from the HPG regional office, we need 2 more clearances, 1 from BRO and another from SDM. These two permits are only required to drive on the road between Solang Nala & Dhundi. If we do not get these two permits, we will walk 7 km from Solang Nala on the road along the Dhundi River. The team members stayed in a shared hotel in Manali and had a good night's preparation time getting to know each other.

Day 2 - From Manali to Dundi

Dundi

  • We started the morning with a drive in Dhundi and reached by 8 am. General supplies and rations will be brought today by mules as far as Bakkarthatch where we set up base camp. Today it is very easy to walk along a continuous incline. We passed 3-4 camps in Dhundi where sailanis can be seen throughout the year. Initially, the road was on the right bank of the river Beas which flowed during the day. Soon we cross a wooden bridge without "iron". If you have a water phobia, this bridge might be a little exciting for you. From here we continue walking along the verdant path on the right bank of the Beas river. In May and June, you can see snow on the slopes on the left. As you approach Buckcarthatch, you will pass 2-3 small streams which are tributaries of the main river. You should get here around 12 noon. After lunch, we started setting up our base camp here.

Kund Glacier
